Gene
Baldini is an American artist living in Florence for 17 years. Baldini
has 13 years experience teaching at the university level at schools
in both the U.S. and abroad. He has participated in or has been responsible
for diverse summer workshops including: Kendall School of Design-
Grand Rapids Michigan"Summer In Italy", Queens College, Huntington,
Long Island as "Guest Artist The Landscape", "Tuscan
Landscape Workshop", "Hori is Seminars"- Nykobing,
Denmark and TASIS Figure Drawing workshop in the Mugello. Mr. Baldini
holds
a Masters degree from the Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland
Institute of Art. He exhibits regularly in both the U.S. and Europe,
and has been awarded several fellowships and prizes including a Fulbright
Grant to Italy .
